Like in the past years we will have a gift exchange, not manditory though. If you bring a gift you will recieve a gift. The gift has to be Star Wars and minty fresh and not more than $15.00.

Also Scott Wadsworth will be collecting for the Marines and the Toys for Tots program. So please help a less fortunate child this Christmas. It doesn’t have to be SW. They need toys for both Boys and Girls, but the toy must be brand new. We almost filled 2 boxes last year lets see if we can beat that this year!

OSWCC Takes Over Streets Of Cleveland!!

Wednesday, March 22nd, 2006

DSCN9466
This past St. Patty’s day two OSWCC members took it upon themselves to spread the joy of Star Wars.Josh Vardous and Troy Lindsay are also members of the 501st Imperial Legion of Stormtroopers, also known as Vader’s Fist.

It was a last minute decision to suit up in their armor to crash the parade route but little did they know how big of a reception they would soon receive from the entire crowd. A few quick armor adjustments to fit in with the event, toss in freezing temps and a few loving freinds to escort and document the trip (OSWCC members Angela and Trent Lindsay, and Lisa Pavlina…thanks guys!), and Cleveland was in for a huge suprise. Children of all ages, parents, grand-parents, policemen, firemen, parade marshals…EVERYONE wanted to pose for pictures with the Stormtroopers!…er I mean ‘robots’, ‘Buzz Lightyear’, or ‘Darth Vader’…depending on who you asked ;-)

The following are a few snapshots to share in their excitement.

OSWCC Member Interviewed

Saturday, December 17th, 2005

OSWCC North member, Lisa Pavlina was recently interviewed by Beatmag.com.

”I’ve been known as the Star Wars girl at various jobs over the years,” she admits, “Most women don’t get it, they’ll just nod and say, ‘That’s nice,’ in a vague, I-really-don’t-care tone, but guys love it. They’ll talk about it with me and look at my Star Wars Insider magazine. And since I am the Star Wars girl at work and even to my friends and family, I’ve had plenty of things given to me, from pins, books and shirts to M&M wrappers. I love it!”
