* Occupation: Product Manager for LADD Industries (electrical connector distributor)

* Time in OSWCC: 12 years

* Family: My wife Kari and two cats Morey and Lily

* Favorite Movie: Favorite Star Wars movie is Empire Strikes back.  Favorite movie of all time is a toss up between Gladiator and Braveheart.

* Collecting Focus: Anything made by Kenner.  My goal is to have a production toy and pre-production item from every Kenner toy line.  I also really like Kenner internal items like business cards, binders, employee awards, etc.  Basically anything used inside Kenner.  My Star Wars focus is anything related to the A-Wing and Gentle Giant busts.  I also like Sea Wees.

* Star Wars fan since: As far back as I can remember.

* Favorite character: Ben Kenobi

* Favorite item in your collection:  Vintage hand-painted hard copy A-Wing used in all of the photography on the A-Wing box.

* Originals or Prequels: Original trilogy is my favorite by far, but I did really enjoy Revenge of the Sith.

* Favorite quote from the movies: “Stay on target.”

* Loose or Mint on Cards:  Either way is fine by me.  I really like the design process that went into the vintage packaging though.  Having items still in their package is a nice way to be able to appreciate the end result of all that hard work.

* Vintage or Modern: Vintage will always be my favorite, but there are a lot of neat modern things as well.

* Collection location: My basement.  A large portion of my collection is also on loan to the Steve Meister collection.

* Novels or comics: Neither.

* Dark Side or Light Side: It’s all good.

* Star Wars dream job: Special effects technician at ILM.

OSWCC was pleased to welcome Bethany Brown from the American Cancer Society to the South Region meeting this past weekend. Bethany accepted the club’s donation of $645 in honor of Daryl Hall. The money that was donated was raised through our Summer Social auction in July. Many items in the auction were donated by our generous sponsors (listed on this page) as well as items that were donated by our members. Thank you to everyone involved that helped make the auction a great success! The money will be used toward research for a cure and support for people affected by cancer in our community. We miss ya Daryl.

* Family: my wife Kim and daughter Anastasia
* Favorite Movie: Episode 3, Revenge of the Sith
* Collecting Focus: Gentle Giant Animated Maquettes, Clone Wars Animated Figs, and all things Green Lantern (hehe)
* Star Wars fan since: I went to see Jedi in ‘83 with my Dad and older brother, I don’t really remember seeing it, but I do remember playing with all the toys growing up and loving every minute of it, watched the VHS tapes etc. But found my own love for SW when the Special Editions came out in 1997.
* Favorite character: Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader
* Favorite item in your collection: My TK Armor, with my C3 Vader a close second, I stood in line for hours and enjoyed talking to all the other fans in line and being at C3.
* Originals or Prequels: Neither really, my favorite era lies in the time between the OT and Prequels. I love the clone wars series and I am a big EU fan.
* Favorite quote from the movies: “All who gain power, are afraid to lose it…”
* Loose or Mint on Cards: Loose baby, gotta let ‘em breathe!

* Collection location: In my den/office, in Ikea Detolf cases.
* Novels or comics: Comics/Trade Paperbacks

* Star Wars dream job: Being an animator or working with video games for LucasArts. Also, I would love to do PR with LucasFilm, I would wake up everyday excited to go to work for any of those jobs!
